HOPE promotes risk reduction in communities through mobilization and capacity building. In order to respond to Natural and man-made disasters , HOPE has conducted various sessions on capacity building on DRR, organized awareness campaigns, and has benefited victims through cash grants, provision of shelter, food, water, sanitation, and hygiene to remote areas of Pakistan.
HOPE is helping communities, and local organizations to increase their resilience through community-driven efforts led by local leaders. Together, we develop a complete picture of the social, environmental, and economic threats they face and engage them with other local organizations and individuals who share the threat to learn about best practices and then implement locally-led solutions that tackle immediate problems while strengthening the community overall.
